SupaFuz NOS Germanium Fuzz
Originally built for Marshall by Sola Sound, the Supa Fuzz was a derivative of the Tone Bender MKII, but with a few changes to the circuit, giving the SF its distinctive low end growling fuzz. I have matched and auditioned NOS European Transistors in this build, using an original Marshall Supa Fuzz as a reference for accuracy of tone. I have also added a "bias" knob to the build, to allow more sonic sculpting. You can adjust the bias for more abrupt decay, more volume or more sustain.
This pedal, of course, is true bypass, built with carbon composition resistors, low ESR capacitors, fine stranded silver plated copper wiring, as well as other high quality hardware and components and housed in my own custom "mini vintage" British style enclosure, painted in Supa Fuz Grey. This Supa Fuz is supplied with an LED indicator and a convenient DC jack and battery power and will play nice with your other effects pedals on the same daisy chain with no ill effects to the sound or tone.
